THE NORTHWEST are a 3-Guitar Heartland Rock band from Northern Ontario that specialize in writing riffy, anthemic songs about everyday life, heartaches and trying to keep it together during a global pandemic. On June 10th they released their EP entitled ‘ALL IN’ which was funded in part by the Ontario Arts Council and produced by Dustin Goodall/Bill Priddle (Treble Charger, Broken Social Scene) at Unsalted Audio in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. The singles ‘Long Hair (Longer Nights)’, ‘Shoreline’ and ‘Stay Gold’ were released weeks prior to build anticipation and were featured on Hockey Night in Canada as well as the Exclaim Eh-List Playlist. They have a wide, dialed in sound that has been well-honed over the span of plenty of solo shows as well as sharing the stage with The Sheepdogs, The Trews, Gob and Poor Young Things.
