BONE YARD is a high energy rock/ blues/ country rock band hailing from Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The band has been entertaining crowds in the local nightclubs and summer festivals since 2009.

BONE YARD is a rare and fortunate assembly of some of the Soo's most experienced players, each bringing to the table years of experience and a level of musicianship that you don't see every day.

BONE YARD started out as a country band. Now they have expanded into the rock and blues genres. BONE YARD is a tight, driving band that appeals to all music fans alike. The high energy rock show feel that they deliver on stage, the quality of musicianship and cool harmony vocals will impress listeners of all ages.

The band is fronted by Greg Simpson (vocals/guitar), a natural performer with an infectious personality and energy, guaranteed to charge up a crowd. Greg is well known for his work with other local favorites: Stiffler's Mom, and That's Chester.

Alex D'Ettorre (lead guitar) has long been a local guitar favorite and his talents are a most welcome fit with BONE YARD. The most common reaction by fans to the addition of Alex is simply...Wow! Musicians and experienced listeners will understand the concept of “chemistry” in a band, and with Alex on board, BONE YARD has it in spades.

Bringing up the rear is one of the tightest rhythm sections around. Ric Datson (drums), and Brad Stephen (bass guitar) have played with many of the Soo's topshelf country/rock bands for the better part of the last twenty years. This particular pairing of bass and drums is special.

Ric and Brad provide the huge pocket and drive that is the desire of any band. Independently, Ric and Brad have enjoyed sharing stages and opening for artists such as Conway Twitty, Thomas Wade, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Lonestar, and Jason McCoy just to name a few. Ric and Brad's have earned their place from years of playing nightclubs and big stages across Canada...finally doing it together with BONE YARD.
