It wouldn’t be ROTARYFEST without a chance to win big, so this year the club is hosting their first ever ROTARYFEST 50/50 Draw with a guaranteed jackpot of $25,000 to be draw on Saturday, July 17 at 9:45 pm and an Early Bird Draw for $5,000 which will take place on Saturday, July 10 at 7:00 pm. Get your tickets today in support Rotary’s youth and community projects including THRIVE Child Development Centre and Easter Seals Ontario.








  1. The lottery will take place June 14 - July 17, 2021, start time 12:01 am, closing time 9:45 pm.  All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
  2. Recipient of draw funds will be charities listed in the business plan, approved by the AGCO.
  3. Tickets are:  3 for $5, 20 for $10, and 100 for $20
  4. There will be one- $5000 early bird draw on July 10 at 7 pm made at the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie office at 364 Queen St. East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON. 
  5. The one final draw will be a guaranteed minimum of $25,000 made on July 17 at 9:45 pm at the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie office at 364 Queen St. East, Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
  6. If physical distancing is lifted, tickets will be available at pre-arranged/booked locations throughout Sault Ste. Marie.  Selling locations may include

  1. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Ascend Fundraising Solutions. Tickets will be available for purchase online at
  2. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System.  No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
  3. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw.

  5. The winning ticket number will be announced on, on the purchase portal site (, and on the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie, ON social media platforms.
  6. The winner may claim the prize by contacting the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie at 705-945-1279, or by email at:  The ticket may then be brought to 364 Queen St. E at an agreed upon time for ticket verification.  The winner will then be paid by cheque for the amount posted on the purchase portal site.  The winner will need to produce 2 pieces of photo ID and must have the original winning ticket and no copies.  All payments will be made by cheque.
  7. Must be located in the province of Ontario at the time of purchase.
  8. The winning ticket holder has 6 months in which to claim the prize from the date of the draw.
  9. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
  10. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, he/she will be given a cheque in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that draw.  If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
  11. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a locked, secure area and held for 6 months.  After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated to a charity other than the Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie, with the approval of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
  12. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:

Rotary Club of Sault Ste. Marie employees, members, member/employee spouses/partners, and member/employee dependents under the age of 18 who are living at home.
